Sri Rathod describes the two traditional wall paintings found at Veerabhadra temple near Dalvai’s High School, and at Mallanamoole Mutt near Nanjangud. He recognizes the names of the Shiva Sharanas like Basavanna, Channa Basavanna,Tontada Siddalinga, Balasanganna and Shivacharyas like Renuka, Rudramuni Swamy, Shivasharanes like Akkamahadevi, Nilambike,Gangambike etc. The picture of Mummadi Krishna Raja Wodeyar and others of Mysore Royal family have also been noted. The author opines these pictures belongs to period of Mummadi Krishna Raja Wodeyar.
