Dr. Mohan describes the importance of sculptures and architecture of Sadashiva temple at Nuggihalli belonging to Hoysala period; the author says that the temple is of Dravidian and Nagara style. The sub deities found in the temple are idols of Sun, Saptamatrika, Ganesha, Mahishamardini, Skanda, etc, and their features are also furnished.
