Muragoda prachyavasheshagalu-Archaeological remains of Muragod, Belgaum

The authors  give detail descriptions of history and archaeological remains of the village Muragod. Four inscriptions are available from this village and this place was part of many dynasties like, Kadamba, Badami Chalukya, Kalyana Chalukya, Baisaru, Rattas, Yadavas, Bahamani and Adilshahi Sultanates, Vijayanagara kings and Maratas. Inscriptions belonging to 974 AD of Someshwara I, Vikramadithya VI, Trailokya Malla are found here.
