Sri Patil has exceptionally well described the evolution of the Co-operative movement in Mysore state, presenting its historical background i.e., started in England with a set of weavers. The reason for the inception of this movement has been indicated. The activities of the first agricultural Co-operative Bank in the nation has also been presented. The Mysore Co-Operative act (1905); The influence of the national movement, inception of land development bank; nation and the progress of Adi Karnatakas, support of Mysore Royal palace to this movement have all been well presented with a comparative analysis in this essay.
