Andra pradeshadalli Sadashivarayana shasanagalu – Inscriptions of Sadashivaraya in Andra Pradesh

The author explains in detail, the inscriptions found in Rayal Seema region of Andra Pradesh which belong to the period of Sadashivaraya of Vijayanagara dynasty (1543-1571). Sadashivaraya was a namesake king who was kept under arrest by Ramaraya who ruled on behalf of the king. Most of the inscriptions belonging to this period are about the religious and social offerings made by the people for the welfare of King Sadashivaraya and praying for his reinstatement.
