Bhishtappaiah manethanada aprakatitha kanchina shasana-One more unpublished bronze inscription from Bhishtappaiah’s house

    Author: Harihara Srinivasa Rao

    Place: Vittalapura, Mundaragi, Gadag

Srinivasa Rao says that the inscription has five lines which says the two Kanduga paddy has to be donated to one Panibhatta every year. He further furnishes that the Rayagoupara of Virupaksha temple was constructed by Bhishtappaiah alone and not by Krishnadevaraya as informed in a recent novel.
